A native Vancouverite, Keith Nicholson has over 20 years of experience working in some of British Columbia’s leading restaurants, including Bearfoot Bistro, Blue Water Cafe and NU. A certified sommelier from the International Sommelier Guild and self-proclaimed “wine geek”, Keith’s love of wine fuels many of his extracurricular activities, from teaching the Urban Rec Wine Club, to traveling to wine regions around the world, to building—and enjoying—his personal collection.

At Le Crocodile, Keith is thrilled to be a part of Chef Michel Jacob’s team, where quality and excellence is paramount. Responsible for the restaurant’s acclaimed wine program, he is focused on continuing to develop a diverse selection of French wines, complimented with gems from around the world, carefully selected to compliment Chef Jacob’s menu.

Keith enjoys his continuous interaction with the many guests who share in his passion for food and wine. “The best part of my job is guiding guests towards their ideal pairing, be it an old favorite or introducing a new discovery. From beginning to end, my goal is to pass on the passion, and provide them with an unforgettable food and wine experience.”
